donnajones, Have you tried Voltaren Gel (otc) for your hip bursitis & a heat pack? Also, low dose Mobic is a prescription NSAID that works wonders for a lot of folks. It is not as upsetting to the gut & blood pressure like most NSAIDS are. Also, Turmeric is a natural anti-inflammatory that may help. Of course, you would have to ask your doctor about all of these.

Praying for you. Hip issues are painful.

I just found out today that this horrible pain my right hip and the groin bone. I thought it was sciatica.

@covidstinks2023 I always knew Mobic to be one of the NSAIDs that commonly causes heartburn, whereas, others are not so bad. So, take it with food or an antacid such as Pepcid C or another antacid. Turmeric is a good idea. My wife likes meloxicam for her back pain but it does not help with her hip bursitis pain.

@covidstinks2023 Interesting that when I purchased Voltaren is says on the tube, not intended for hips. I had been using and wondered why not that much relief.
