My Treatment Survival List
This is a list of what has helped. I am highly reactive to prescriptions and avoid them at all cost if possible. I have compiled a 1½ page list of allergic reactions to various meds to avoid repeats.
1. Acid Reflux after meals: 4 or 5 almonds after breakfast; ½ teaspoon of baking soda in water after lunch, one Tums after dinner (sometimes forced to take 2 tabs). Tums can give you side effects. If you try vinegar/water treatment -NEVER TAKE WITH BAKING SODA!
2. Heating Pad - Has worked in the past for pelvic pain
3. Knudsen Tart Cherry - Decreases Inflammation - Has changed the nightly every 1.5 hr trips to the bathroom to 4.5 hours, never caused by urinary tract infections - has been inflammation all along.
4. Gatorlyte - High dose electrolyte drink, only 60 calories since stevia is used for the sweetener. Helpful when I have muscle cramping in many, many other parts of the body.
5. Lemon Balm - Calming
6. Magnesium Glycinate (350 mg) by Life Seasons - Is a “Buffered” 4 pill daily dose.
7. Mt Olive Pickle Juice - I keep one small “Pickle Juice Sprots Drink Shot” by the bed, stops cramps in about one minute to a minute and a half (maybe less, just seems like an eternity). I peal off the outer plastic cover without unscrewing it, until needed so it will not spoil until used.
8. Passion Flower or Valerian - Puts you to sleep
9. Prevagen Extra Strength (3 months to become effective after initiation) - Cleared the brain fog
10. Probulin Probiotic - Colonic Support - very expensive, plan taking for a couple of months due to years of physicians prescribing Omeprazole (PPI) when the literature stated not to take for longer than 14 days. I am convinced this wreaked havoc on my digestive system. This was further aggravated by physicians prescribing antibiotics for UTI’s which were false positives due to faulty specimen collections. The pain was inflammation all along.
11. Theraworx Relief for Muscle Cramps (Foam) - Spread on thighs and calves before bed. Have used for the last 6 nights and seems to work.
---------------
Notes: A one-hour rest in the afternoons is very helpful. The Lemon Balm, Passion Flower or Valerian is taken at night before bed. The Tart Cherry Juice will make you tired but I do take it during the day. You can add a little water to the glass, is less tart if you do not eat anything sweet before drinking. Walmart is the least expensive that I have found.

Thank you for taking the time to answer everything in detail. I really appreciate it. I will definitely go and purchase these items. I need something bad and like you said the prescribed meds are an addictive nightmare. Many blessing to you!

As of 13 Dec 24 - No muscle cramping at night with the use of Theraworx one application on thighs and calves before bed. What a wonderful over-the-counter product!
Had a bad episode last night after I went in to lie down, same as last Dec for some reason (maybe the cold had something to do with it). Whole trunk of body (below the neck to hips) very tight painful, especially to touch. Went to ER last Dec because the Nurse Line though it was the heart, nothing found except slightly low Potassium. So, last night just used a heating pad to the back and took Tylenol until it slowly subsided. Guess it was just my old friend "Fibro".

Thank you 🙏 and wow! I can’t believe they were treating you with antibiotics for uti’s when it wasn’t that! They did that to me for 11 months straight I was on antibiotics as they thought it was a chest infection when it wasn’t, I had chronic allergic sinusitis but they were giving me the wrong type and I didn’t need to be on them for that long…it’s because they were saying they didn’t know what it was…finally in the end, they did but to be on antibiotics for one round wipes all the goodness in your tummy and it takes 2years to repair! Just after one round of them…make no wonder why I’m always ill now! And same again with the omelrazole…sorry your having to go through that..xx and yes, it’s important to have rests in between doing things, I listen to my body and rest whenever it’s letting me know to..stay well hydrated too guys
