Gabapentin and Cymbalta
I am taking 300mg of Gabapentin twice a day and my neurologist seems to feel pretty strongly that I add 30mg of Cymbalta. Does anyone else take this combo? I really hate adding new medications!

yes and yes
not a problem finding rebelsus through my primary care dr.
What kind of replacement are you on?
It's rybelsus, a prescription medication. I don't know if that helps.
I took both too for a short time. Cymbalta did a very good job on the pain, but it made me feel kinda edgy. So I asked my doc to drop the Cymbalta and give me more Gabapentin instead. She did. I am now on 1800 mgs of Gabapentin daily, supplemented by some medical marijuana gummies. So far it's working pretty well.
Can you tell me more about the medical mar gummies? What does this do? What is the brand and dose?
THC?
I am on Cymbalta 60 mg and has helped.
Thanks.
just be careful. I am going on hormone replacement therapy.
I don't know what that means.
you could ask a dr. it's common term.
Hello everyone I'm 47 I have diabetes 2 I started gabapentin 300mg. Week ago I was so hyper but that stopped after couple days. Then I was just active. I asked my doctor that I liked what I read about side effects for Cymbalta since they both help neuropathy. He said take them both. So now 4 days ago I started Cymbalta 60mg.. I know it's to early to tell it says both take 4-6 maybe longer. But I'm doing stuff instead of dragging. And my feet feel better. I didn't like the way Gabapentin made me hungry all day. Now I'm on both first couple hours I feel little nausea. Then I'm not hungry. But I force myself a little food 3 times day being diabetic. So I'm good with that. Thank you all for sharing experiences with these medications. I did plan on stopping Gabapentin but I don't know. Since I'm just starting maybe I should to see if Cymbalta is good enough on its own. Any advice would be welcomed.
