Ombra filter change

Hi community,
It seems an odd question. How often do you change the air filter?
The instruction says it is supposed to be changed every 30 days or based on the color it changes. Are you able to see the color change? Or just change it every 30 days as it said so.

Many thanks!

When the filter changes color (a yellowish cast or crusty white) I change it. I do not change it religiously every 30 days because I forget. In addition, I do not use the Ombra compressor every time I nebulize further complicating keeping track of the filter change.

I change my ombra filter when it’s covered with a whitish layer so it’s around a month. I believe the white powdery stuff is mostly from nebulizing sodium chloride. I use a vest and I change the filter every month too because there so much white dust covering the big filter
