Welcome @captsail, I agree, it pays to do your homework and learn as much as you can about your condition and what treatments are available that "might" help while navigating the swamp of neuropathy treatments. Here are a few references for others that might be helpful when researching "cures" for neuropathy of which there are none but there are treatments that can provide some relief.

Hi John. What is a volunteer mentor? Sorry, I don’t have time to follow up on your links, but will check it out when I do. The short answer to your question is that I have been to the Mayo Clinic twice and they were wonderful in finding answers for issues that no one else could solve.
