Thank you! I have a number of issues, bursitis, OA (subchondral cysts), FAI, IFI, labral tears. All that said, I feel like I'm on the brink of recovery after changing my diet, adding some supplements, and being very good about PT. I just received a BMAC injection yesterday in the hip and am hopeful it will work. I'd love to get back to running without having a hip replacement!

Hmmm...as a long-time runner, at 55 I had (per the ortho) "the hips of an 85 year old" with severe OA, bursitis, a deformed acetabular and other issues that no amount of PT could fix, so I had bilateral hip replacements. Fast-forward 18 years, with 3 revisions and numerous other joint and lung issues, and I must say I am glad I listened to him and did not start running again, or I would probably need new hips again. As I watch my 8 yo grandson run races, I would really love to join him but I think I'll stick to fitness walking and yoga and just cheer for him.

So my question to you is, can you find another sport to love so you can spare your body?
