Long covid NMN cocktail, what dose?
Greetings, has anyone tried the long covid NMN cocktail? I saw it on an NIH posting, it is based on nicotinamide mononucleotide, The interest is that as a precursor to NAD+ it can help modulate the immune system response, which might help reduce long covid symptoms.. I have been trying a low dose version for two months, it might have helped a little. If you have tried this, how much NMN/day are you taking? Thanks! Greg

I have had Long Covid since contracting it in October, 2020. I did not have to go to the hospital and have managed my symptoms with a wide assortment of supplements including amino acids for the mitochondrial damage which seems to be the worst part of it for me at this point in time.
I see that NMN has recently become available and I'm very interested because it appears to deal with the energy deficit issue.
In fact, I took the RSV vaccination 2 days ago and seem to be stricken with PEM (Post Exertional Malaise - visit the Bateman Horne Institute for more information about this) today.
Any reples are appreciated.
I have had nearly 25 infusions and must say that my neuropathy in my feet is better, but my balance is no better and maybe even worse. It is unlikely to be the result of the gamma globulin however. I am still not able to walk much after 4 years. Some of it is due to my knees giving out, but mostly because of balance and dizziness problems. I am going to Cleveland Clinic at the end of the month to see what they have to say. I look forward to following any new treatment you discover.
I have been approved for the Cleveland Clinic ReCOVer Clinic. Can you tell me what your first appointment involves? Anyone else been to this clinic?
Thanks, Lucy
