My doctor was not able to offer anything on it. My new endocrinologist says no, that I should have started right after menopause….no one told me that! (So frustrating). HOWEVER, there are different opinions on this issue and I’m going to explore the research. I’ve read it’s okay, even if many years later. I’ll post if I find the professional source.
