I am 83 years old with a PSA of 6.5. Will have a prostate biopsy soon.
Would be interested to know what kind of treatment options I have available, depending of course on the biopsy results. I am in reasonable good health, with high blood pressure being treated. How limited are my options based on my age of 83?

Excellent! The future seems over-rated anyway ( just like the “good old days”.
My father-in-law was a physician and he once told me that more people die with prostate cancer than from it. He had prostate cancer and treated it with Lupron. He died at 94, but not from cancer.
And if you are taking hormone therapy that is doubly true!
Thank you and that was reassuring!

Colleen,
I recall earlier reading a post that said someone did Iron Man Triathlon while under ADT with practically no Testosterone.
Can you point me to that post?
