Locking finger joints & hypermobility
New chapter in this saga…lol…anyone experience locking finger joints and/or sudden finger hyper mobility? In the last month this is a new development. X-rays show very little, but it’s progressing each day😑

Ugh! That doesn't sound like a new chapter that anyone with PMR or other condition wants to start. I don't think you are alone. There are a few members who have mentioned fingers with hypermobility - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/search/?search=finger%20hypermobility.
It seems like it might be related to collagen deficiency. Here's some information I found that may help explain:
"The exact cause of joint hypermobility syndrome isn't known. However, the disorder tends to run in families. The genes that are involved in the creation of collagen are believed to play a role. Collagen is the protein that adds flexibility and strength to your joints, ligaments and tendons."

There was also an interesting small study on the topic.

The locking finger joints you mentioned makes me think about trigger finger. There are quite a few discussions and comments on trigger finger - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/search/?search=trigger+finger. Does this sound like a possibility?
You are so great! Thank you so much! I’ll get to reading☺️
I have had some strange finger locking - always at inopportune moments!
After almost a year of dancing with PMR, I'm rarely surprised when some new little hiccup occurs. Ha.
We'll be fine as long as we keep our sense of humor.
Meanwhile, it's not much fun...
Same here something new. I’ve had that before but not as strong at all. And not so often.
