Hi, @cats0cats2 - I thought you might be interested in posting in a discussion about carcinoid lung tumors to see if anyone there has experience with a connection to thoracic polyneuropathy.

Wondering if you've been diagnosed with a carcinoid lung tumor and a bone island in your lumbar area? If so, what treatment will you or have you undergone for this?

The next Zoom meeting is scheduled for November 2nd, 2024. Meeting will start at 10am. There will be a presentation by Dr. Harshad Kulkarni, Chief Medical Advisor at the BAMF Health center in Grand Rapids, MI. Dr Kulkarni is a nuclear medicine physician and has a long history of treating NET patients in Germany. If you are not a member, please contact Gary or Caryn (emails below).

For people new to the group send an email to Caryn Jamero at swanjamero@gmail.com or to garydmurfin@gmail.com and you will be added to our email list (Listsrv).

I reached out to them to see if I could get a Zoom invite to the presentation tomorrow about Carcinoid/NET. I gave them a brief description of my situation and asked them if they thought I might gain something from hearing that presentation. Will see! Thanks for the info.
