I just asked my doctor about this today. He said he will consult with Endocrinolgy , but it is not typically done in Canada and not found to be reliable?

McCormick says bone markers need to be done right and then they are accurate, so fasting for CTX and at the same time early in the morning. I have read that kidney function also affects it. My doc says they "Don't tell the whole story of what is going on in bones." I don't know what to think honestly!
