You were fortunsate to have doctors who had some knowledge of CBD. Here's why:

Proper doses are only determined after it has been used enough to make determinations, may take more time.

Curcumin is another not yet approved approach to cancer treatment. Again it is difficult to find dosage informsation. Also curcumin in needed doses is not absorbed well in the stomach, making oral supplements more difficult to use. From my sucessful self treatment with it, I found best to use 95 standardized curcuminoids with black pepper extract. I took this in at least 1000 mg doses every 3-4 hours during my 4 session, 4 month chemotherapy.
Also was taking high doses of "timed release" vitamin C to enhace my immune system.

Most important in your treatment is to stay informed and always keep your doctors as up to date on everything you find out.

Hi can you recommend a brand and ordering source.
My son is going through chemo for pancreatic cancer and the nausea
is terrible
Thanks
I used THC gummies with a 1:1 ratio. 10 mg each.
I was so nauseated after my first round that I couldn’t eat and could only lay in bed. A friend (also a cancer patient) brought me some to try. We live in a state where it is legal. It helped so much. Almost immediately
Do oncologists recommend specific brand CBD or THC gummies ? Or Rx medical grade gummies for treating nausea? I would be more willing to try something the doc recommended. All I have for nausea is dissolvable generic zofran which helps a little, but the nausea is so intense I’d like another way to alleviate it when it comes on ( usually I wake up in the middle of the night with it). Is there a thc or cbd I should ask the oncologist or assistant about?
@rselicmeister, if I remember correctly, you may also be on immunotherapy (Keytruda?) for esophageal cancer.
Research continues to indicate that CBD oil interferes with immunotherapy. Here are some references to consider:

– Cannabis Consumption Used by Cancer Patients during Immunotherapy Correlates with Poor Clinical Outcome https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7563978/
As with any complementary therapy, you should always talk with your oncologist. Complementary therapies can interact negatively with immunotherapy or chemotherapies and/or reduce their effectiveness.
@cubgirl1960, would you mind sharing which brand you took?
I took several different brands of gummies - whatever my local dispensary had that was lower in THC , but higher in CBD (and/or CBN which helps with sleep). Indica is my preferred strain.
The dispensary should have the info on their website. LEAFLY is a good reference for strains and what is helpful, with reviews from users too. I used/use a brand called ENCORE, WANNA, and Mindy’s.
*I also use/used micro-dosed High CBD concentrate in OTC gelatin capsules nightly for tumor suppression. Whatever the highest CBD to THC percentage that was available at my dispensary. (I preferred “SweetPea” when available). Hope this helps !
Absolutely 💯 !! I never used it before cancer. I was taking my medicine with no relief from getting sick. So I tried pot. Didn't cure my cancer but it was better then the other meds doctor gave me. Good luck .
