Need to separate HU with other medications? Like 2 hours before or aft
I need Nexium every morning before breakfast and other drugs. I have HU 500 from 5 days, to 6 days now 7 days gradually over last 15 months.
Platelet counts raised from 650 to 750 appox.

May I suggest you ask your doctor this important question? She or he will be in the best position to consider drug interactions.
Wishing you well!
Pharmacists can often answer drug interaction questions better than the doc. If your oncology clinic has an onco-pharmacist, these folks offer great advice if you can get access.
I agree that a pharmacist will/ought to know about drug interactions, and they should have been pointed out to you at any time you were prescribed medication of ANY SORT. In fact, these days the safest person to learn about contraindications is the pharmacist.....not the doctor. My pharmacists routinely raise their eyebrows, go look at my file, or my wife's, and then come back with, 'Does your doctor know that you have....?' Without a word of a lie, it happened to me over the sleep aid zopiclone (I have apnea, so those people have to be very careful about sleep medications of all kinds), and it happened just yesterday afternoon when my wife, who'd had emergency surgery a week before, and was being released with a course of a hefty antibiotic, was being prescribed a drug that had four contraindications with her several other medications.
However, you can find out for yourself by doing a google search of 'drug interactions' or drug contraindication calculator' or something like those and you'll get at least six hits of sites into which you plug your new drug and it'll show a long list for you of all other drugs which will likely cause problems if taken together.
@annleung852, I hope you saw the helpful posts from @gloaming @nohrt4me and @janemc. Were you able to ask your doctor or pharmacist about the best timing of taking your medications? What did you find out?
