In case no one saw my reply to myself. My Dr agreed to increase the prednisone dose to 7.5. - 5 in the morning and 2.5 in the early afternoon. So far it’s helping me but at the same time it’s disrupting my sleep so I’m not sure I will maintain the extra 2.5 mg.

This just shows how experiences differ from one person to the next. I told somebody I’ve been working with to speak to his doctor to increase his prednisone, because he was having terrible problems with fatigue, waking up in the morning and having to go back to sleep for hours.
Doctor told him to increase from 5 mg to 10 mg. he still had problems in the morning. He started taking the second pill later, early evening, and that helped, but he had no problem sleeping.
