Yes, thank you! I have watched Margaret Martin. Onero is based on LiftMOR which showed huge improvements in bone density in some very frail people. I hate exercise so want to make sure what I do is the most helpful. I probably should start working more seriously on my attitude! 😁
Hi Deb,
Where are you in New Mexico? I'm in Santa Fe and like you, wish there were an Onero Program here. Did you sign up for the online course? If you have, please let me know what you think about it so far? I try to work out on my own at home but definitely need a more structured program.

I didn't. My doctor recommended a physio who practises her own variant of it. Onero was developed here in Brisbane. My physio not only doesn't want to pay their licence fees, but thinks their program is too restrictive. Although I have been on anastrozole for two years, my DEXA results are improving. Two gym sessions a week are enough. I don't do much walking because Chemo Induced Peripheral Neuropathy makes walking unpleasant- it's like walking on wet sand all the time.
Hi! So great to hear that your DEXA results are improving even while on anastrozole! Just 1.5k yrs into Letrozole I’m in osteoporosis at 59 yrs. My oncologist wants me to try Zometa and I have first infusion scheduled next week I’ve very nervous about side effects but feel much walking, light weights won’t be enough! Did you do a biophosphate at all? Xo
This is a follow up from the Belinda Beck presentation regarding Onero. It's by a different PT who has a program called Strong Bones and I found her perspective interesting.
