I have commented elsewhere on this form about the morning anxiety/ depression that has haunted me every morning for over three years. It starts even before I am fully awake, around 5. Usually disappates as the day goes on, but waking every day with such a sense of despair is crippling. My therapist and a few psychiatrists haven't helped.

Your post has revealed there are several sisters in the am crying club and im one of them.
We are in good company!
So virtually, lets cheer each other on!
BTW:
Let me offer something else that helps distract and get me in a calmer and pleasant mind.
BRAIN GAMES STICKER BOOKS.

Put on some calm or inspirational music and do a page or 2.
Theyve REALLY helped redirect the tears to dryness. 😂🙌
I love the Mosaic, Psalms, Stress Free, Words of Jesus, Stained Glass, and Folk Art.
I was first gifted the Psalms. When I started my first one, I couldnt believe how therapeutic it was! Great music, nice brain activity and DRY EYES with a Joyful heart.
Hence, bought the next one and voila; a SUPER EASY DISTRACTING activity that showed me I COULD accomplish and overcome and move on thru the day!
