@hkjp

I also have sjrogens diagnosed 3 yrs ago. I have had dry eyes most of my life. I am 77. I saw a cornea dr at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. The outcome was , in plain words, ripples or wrinkles on my corneas. I was put on Cequa drops and to come back in 3 months, that will be November. I can't afford to keep getting these drops as the cost with insurance is $138 a month. I don't notice any difference with these drops. I will update in November.

Have you gone to the manufacturers website for patient assistance

hkjp, Cequa drops is fairly new and probably will not go generic for a while. I would call the manufacturer and see if they have discount coupons or could help you. The manufacturer is Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, 2 Independence Way, Princeton, NJ 08540 Phone: (609) 720-8130.

The website is: http://www.sunpharma.com/usa. I saw on there where you could request a connect with a representative.

Have you tried Restasis (Prescription)? I use it for dry eyes due to Fibromyalgia & having had cataract surgery. I also use Systane Complete PF (over the counter) eye drops twice a day. They both together work great for me. Ask your eye doctor for a sample to try and see if maybe this works better for you. I also had the collagen punctum plugs inserted into my tear ducts by my eye doctor and that has been wonderful. You may want to ask about this.

Praying for you and I wish the best.
