Hi Nancy, I also have try eyes, glaucoma and macular degen. I use Restasis and also heat pads on my eyes. It releases the oil from the Mibomian (sp?) oil glands. Also if you massage under your eyes where the glands are it releases the oil - instant relief. You can order the pads on line from Oasis or ask your eye doc. It only takes 10 minutes and is calming also.
