Body vibrations when falling asleep or waking?

While I am certainly not a physician (not that they know anyway) I would suspect your body vibrations may indeed have something to do with the Temazepam you have been taking for years. It's meant for short term use and is in the Benzo class which in my opinion can be dangerous drugs for ones overall health. I was on a Benzo (klonopin) for only 7 months and it messed up my central nervous system big time. Most of the weird stuff it was creating have disappeared other than the nightly body vibrations which still linger slightly after being off the drug for 18 months. It is called protracted withdrawal syndrome as is a real thing although docs don't get it. Although you are still taking the drug it may have indeed impacted your CNS causing your issues but thats just a guess. Best to you.

I'm actually afraid, now, to take Temazepam because of the excessive frightening dreams, waking up at all hours of the night and then trying to fall asleep. I've been on it for so long. I was given Dalmane along with Elavil(both strong drugs) years ago. The pharmacy misunderstood the doctor and gave me Melloril (psychiatric drug) The internal tremors are rather new to me. I am unable to fall asleep without a sleeping pill and would be awake the entire night, so I'm in a difficult place.
I'd like to have a sleep study done while I TAKE the Temazepam so they can see what it does to my brain - but that won't happen. Sleep labs just look for RL or apnea.
I am making an appointment to see a sleep medicine doctor who helped my son. I just need someone to listen to me -- to understand. The doctor who fills my prescription has never met me and I have never met her. My former doctor left the area.

Thanks for your reply to me. You know what I have been going through. Few people know.

Take care, Benzo Buddy.
