Body vibrations when falling asleep or waking?

I have not had Covid but have had Covid vaccinations. I have been on Temazepam for sleep for at least 20 years and wondered if it was the sleeping pill. I get vibrations in the stomach area, mainly. As others mtion, it's very difficult to explain Of course, I can't sleep when I have the vibrations and then I am also dealing with the Temazepam. The "vibrations" are very troublesome and I move from one bed to another to see if they can be alleviated but no luck. I take an aspirin for the heck of it because I don't know what else to do. I am awake most of the night and extremely exhausted.
I'm "afraid" to take a sleeping pill now, thinking that might be causing the tremors but if I don't take it, I'lldefintely not sleep. Doctors don't really know that much about sleep problems other than to have you take a sleep study to see if you have restless legs or apnea. I have neither.
I have been up since 3:00 a.m. searching the internet to see what i can find about this condition. Good luck to all of you.

While I am certainly not a physician (not that they know anyway) I would suspect your body vibrations may indeed have something to do with the Temazepam you have been taking for years. It's meant for short term use and is in the Benzo class which in my opinion can be dangerous drugs for ones overall health. I was on a Benzo (klonopin) for only 7 months and it messed up my central nervous system big time. Most of the weird stuff it was creating have disappeared other than the nightly body vibrations which still linger slightly after being off the drug for 18 months. It is called protracted withdrawal syndrome as is a real thing although docs don't get it. Although you are still taking the drug it may have indeed impacted your CNS causing your issues but thats just a guess. Best to you.
