I saw this on Facebook: Wondering why when geese fly in V formation one side is longer than the other? The answer is there are more geese on the longer side.

That was one of Einstein's earlier and far less famous thought experiments.

If a gaggle realizes they're headed the wrong way, do they make a U-turn ...
... or a V-turn?

Just curious....

That answer's right up there with the ones to the questions, "Who's buried in Grant's tomb?", and "When was the War of 1812 fought?"

Both sides would be the same length if it weren't for that one odd duck.
