@jones1959, I'm so sorry if there aren't other viable options. I'm hoping that you are able to make peace with your decision and that you find hospice care that is helpful to you and your family. Hospice can be helpful in knowing what to expect and managing any side effects of the disease.
As a metastatic lung cancer patient myself, I know that I'll face this difficult crossroad someday. I know that this takes strength and a certain sense of having lived a good life.
