ET and chemical pre-cautions?

Im 64 got diagnosed with ET about 2 years ago based on blood work (Jak2). My hematologist says I’m textbook ET My count is at 713K and on 2 81mg aspirins a day so far. My doctor asking told me to stay away from chemicals like pesticides and Benzene. Has anyone else had any other mentions on what to stay clear off when having these blood disorders?

I hope your Pegasys journey is going well. I keep reading about a worldwide shortage of the drug. Has it been an issue for you?
I am doing well, taking HU 4x a week to try to get platelets below 400.

so far it has not been and issue. Just had my 4th injection, My first 2 were 100 the last 2 were 150. I get lab work on 10/7 and will see if he changes it again.
