Yes, it would be nice to be able to self adjust the dose! My doc is not and endocrinologist or a functional medicine doctor. She's a family practice doctor with a long time OP speciality. I see the limitations in this. I did a lot of diagnostic blood testing, but it didn't include sex hormones. She just prescribed HRT, at my request, with the tested therapeutic dose of .05 estradiol patch plus micronized progesterone by mouth. If it works out, it's definitely a simple and inexpensive approach...
I'll hear back from her next week.
I'm still hoping the tenderness resolves as my body adjusts (seems a little less today) and that it helps to stop bone loss. Thanks again for your DIM tip. Still reading about it and considering.
