I had my surgeries at U of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus (lived there and worked at the U)
1st surgery at age 55 was hysterectomy and bladder repair with mesh, no complications or problems. started on estradiol creme and was able to get Imvexxy under my benefits plan.

However pelvic organ prolapse stage 2 diagnosed, 10 yrs later. So repair included correction of rectal prolapse (stapled back in place IIRC) cystocele repair and oophorectomy/salpingectomy. they recommended the latter due to being over 65, risk of ovarian CA;
had to wait a couple extra years because of COVID. again, no major difficulties--absolutely didn't lift anything over 5 pounds for 12 weeks post op
I did have some problems with intercourse, so saw a pelvic PT for a course of treatment over a period of 8 or 12 weeks, and have no regrets

Did you have mesh for the cystocele repair?
