Lack of saliva cevelimine doesn’t work this is a new device does it w
Passed on to me by oral pathologist, but she doesn’t know anyone heard of it or, better yet know anyone who tried it?
http://saliwell.com/ seems to good to be true, but its difficult living without saliva. They claim to beFDA approved. But there are some issues with medical devices .
Also unsure if covered by insurance.. maybe if prescribed. Seems fishy, but might be worth a try. Would feel better if anyone had experience with it. Please rely with thoughts or personal knowledge.

I posted a question to my online dental hygienist’s magazine group, asking hygienists all over the country if their patients use the SaliPen and what their results have been. Not one person has yet responded with a patient who uses it, but hundreds are interested in knowing more about it for their own information and patients. Sure wish I could have given you a better answer, @cblue.
Gosh, thanks. What a good idea. Keep us posted if you hear anything.
I am a Salipen user.
I find that it needs persistence.
I have been using it since early 2024, so 8 months.
I use it - and continue to do so - for the maximum recommended time: 5 minutes each time, five times a day.
It took a long time to reach a perceptible effect.
Back in July, so after 5 months, I did 2 DNA tests.
The Ancestry test required the filling of 2 vials.
I just managed to do so, but in each case it took about an hour to reach thr required quantity.
I used the device in between filling the vials.
The MyHeritage test required the use of two cheek swabs, for 1 or 2 minutes per swab.
I decided to go for the longer period.
I was thrilled to discover that I actually *drooled* when using the swabs.
Another anecdote: After months of use, I was walking along, on a reasonably hot day, and suddenly felt the difference. I didn't feel the need to constantly swig water. It was a very sudden feeling: gosh, I don't have a dry mouth any more!
My conclusion is: persevere.
Don't expect miracles, but the device does provide relief.
It’s wonderful to hear this! So happy for your salivary success! I’ll let my fellow dental hygienists know to recommend it!
HELLO, I TAKE, PILOCARPINE IT WORKS, NOT ALL DAY BUT I'LL TAKE IT
@penn I take pilocarpine 2 x a day I notice if I don’t drink enough I start sweating after taking it. It even spikes my temp that they thought I had Covid . I will take the sweating compared to being soak and wet with sweat from the Cevelimine
