Hope you are doing well. In response to the rod in your femur. (Mine had stress fracture + hematoma in quads from ruptured blood vessels) related to MUA pressure and put me back 12 more weeks. How were you after the rod insertion procedure? I will be having that + removal of scar tissue and adjustment of femoral component in November.

Several doctors have told what a good surgeon my femur doctor is. I had a complete fracture of my femur . . .still don't know why it happened. I have had no problems other than time for it to heal which I think is going nicely. If I did a revision on my knee they talked about removing the rod and putting in some attachment which sounded risky and scary and I got the feeling from the revision surgeon he didn't want to do it. What frustrated me is he did n't just come right out and say that I just had to surmise that. I was really put off by him.
