Side effects leaving after EVENITY.
I am expecting dose 8 of EVENITY. I have had a few side effects mainly joint pain in hips and legs. I am curious to know from others who have finished EVENITY if the side effects disappear over time. I find that the joint pain comes and goes. I am very active and find that the joint pain really interferes with life. Thanks.

My doc assures me there were gains but it's hard to compare this deja-scan measure with the measures I had in New York (now in Georgia). I see him in October
after a second scan and will 1. ask about options to osteoporosis meds and 2. ask how to use previous scans to measure progress or lack there of. Will report back what I learned.

1 ReactionThank you! I hope you continue to improve along this interesting journey.
There are a few people who have tried HRT to lock in gains. You may want to read those threads. I’m supposed to start Evenity and “may” consider Hrt post Evenity.

1 ReactionSo glad ur side effects are gone, but did you have them the whole year of injections? I may be going on Evenity in October. I had ankle pain for the last 6 months on Tymlos and it wasn’t fun.
I finished 12 months Evenity in July and my end of Aug. Dexa showed 15.4% overall improvement and my spine went from osteoperosis to ostopenia. Improvements in each area. Now I am on weekly Alendronate.

3 ReactionsI also just finished Evenity. I got 10.7% spine. 10.4% right hip. 5% for the other three joints. So I’m happy.

3 ReactionsWhat is your experience with taking Alendronate? Thanks.
I have no problems with it. It requires you to take it 30 min. before eating anything and with a glass of water and you must not lie down in those 30 min. Once a week is no problem for me to do that.
That is wonderful! Thank you for sharing. It gives me some hope.
