Orgovyx extreme fatigue side effects

Posted by mikejf @mikejf, Apr 22 9:51am

I have been using Orgovyx several years for prostate cancer and am now have in extreme fatigue side effects during the afternoon. I take Orgovyx late morning every day and side effects kick in around 3p.m. I was wondering if I switched to taking Orgovyx at night in stead if side effects during day would be reduced

I’ve been taking Orgovyx for a month and was also wondering if taking it before I go to bed at night would solve the daytime fatigue problem but have read that it can cause insomnia. But I suppose the only way to find out is to try it and see what happens.

I am in my 3rd month of ORGOVYX.
I have experienced all of the advertised side effects at one time or another.
The hot flashes are every hour of every day except when I am sleeping. There has been occasions when being hot and sweating woke me up. I'm either hot or cold all the time. After each hot flash, I am cold and cover up until the next one.
My only exercise is doing my household chores; vacuuming, washing dishes, clothes, fixing meals, etc.
I'm too tired to even think about doing anything else.
I could sleep a majority of every day.
I really don't have much interest in anything other than sleep.

Since the medicine is once a day and stays in your system, the testosterone will not recover during the 24 hour period so I do not believe the time of day will have any impact

Also 3 months on Orgovyx and Zytiga. I'm sitting here contemplating whether to take a nap or go to exercise. Experience tells me that the exercise will help me the rest of the day, but it’s very hard to get going

I didn’t take my dose this morning for the first time since starting a month ago and am enjoying my first day without any fatigue! Will take my daily dose this evening and let you know if I experience any insomnia

im 74 also on orgovyx for 4 years now my advice is to fight against the fatigue and negative thoughts. Just exercise anyway and avoid sugar and try to eat healthy . I'm sure it will make a difference and you feel better Its extremely hard, i know but that's why we hear so often "Battling Cancer"

I take Orgovyx and Zytiga when I get up to pee at night. I sleep like a baby when I go back to bed and fatigue during the day is manageable.

I exercise every day and feel better afterwards. On a few days when I didn't exercised the fatigue was much worse.

Good luck!
