My first time with PMR took me 3 and half years to get off of prednisone. I was always fairly stiff in the mornings until I started moving around. Even though my PMR is in remission, I still have some stiffness in the mornings and sometimes a little ache but not real sharp pains.

Do you keep a daily log of your level of symptoms/pain/stiffness along with your dosage of meds?

I started but got lazy. I'm not a good record keeper. This sounds like my situation exactly but I'm still on prednisone 7.5 and mtx 15/week. My sed rate is normal but my crp is in the 3+ range. Did u have relapses.
