Is it recent that you saw a retina specialist? If not, I would offer this suggestion…
If your center of cornea “floater” is stationary rather than truly floating, ie, it’s not moving around in your visual field, then you should see a retina specialist asap. This can be a symptom of active wet or dry AMD. If it is wet AMD there is treatment you would want to start immediately. When you make your appointment describe to them what your symptom is - that may help you get in sooner.
I have wet and dry AMD and am just drawing on my own experience. Good luck!

I see a retinol specialist every 6 -8 months. My floaters do move around. So far all seems stable for now.
