I totally understand how you feel because I’m going through the same thing. I had covid in 2022 and the symptoms started right away, I think it was the Omicron variant and was known to cause palpitations, sweating and tremors, I took it all in stride thinking it would stop when the infection was over but alas it didn’t. I could even hear my pulse at times and the sweating was profound, I did a lot of research but there wasn’t a lot of information to be found, I got more confirmation from being here online that I wasn’t alone. I also had a thorough heart checkup and they found nothing wrong with my heart other than it beats too fast. Sadly the cardiologist was not open to blaming it on covid and ultimately suggested I see a psychiatrist, what an insult to me and others who have gone through this. I am a stressed person and have been for years but it never caused palpitations or sweating, I find it all very frustrating and scary especially having an ailment that can’t be treated because beta blockers are the best remedy for rapid heart rates but those of us who have asthma can’t take them. I hope one day they will find ways to treat all the symptoms that covid leaves us with but until then we have to keep trying to get help from other people who have found ways to help them themselves, I hear about clinics that help you or a good doctor who will try to treat you. All I know is that for those who think that covid is just another virus like so many others, wake up and get smarter about protecting themselves because it’s much more insidious and dangerous.
