Mercatopurine for Autoimmune hepatitis?

Has anyone taken Mercatopurine for Autoimmune hepatitis? I have tried Budesonide ,Azathioprine, & Prednisone for AIH but they made me ill, my body couldn't handle them and now they have me trying Mercaptopurine. Did it work and did anyone get bad side effects from it?

I was on Mercaptopurine for a couple months for autoimmune pancreatitis. Even though pre testing showed my liver could metabolize it, it made me very sick and caused liver toxicity.
