Seeking guidance for misdiagnosed and worsening condition:

- Age 18, female, 155cm height
- History of foot issues:
- Age 11 (6th class): noticed feet turning inward after a long walk
- Age 12 (7th class): advised to use pre-made silicon arches for assumed flat feet
- Age 15 (10th class): severe backache during exams, diagnosed with slight scoliosis
- Age 16 (11th class): diagnosed with hyperlaxity syndrome
- Age 18: gait analysis revealed high arched feet, not flat feet
- Scoliosis (22° lumbar spine), progressing (Cobb's angle increased by 2° in 6 months)
- Hypermobility/hyperlaxity syndrome
- Possible Marfan syndrome
- Misaligned rib cage, shoulder, head, and pelvic bones (0.5mm difference)
- Using braces, which have improved alignment, but chronic pain persists
- Previous treatments: arches, sports shoes, physiotherapy
- Confused and seeking expert advice for managing chronic pain and potential progression

If interested in providing guidance, please drop you email and I will share additional medical files (gait analysis, x-rays) for a more informed consultation.

Hello @anshi789, Welcome to Connect. You certainly have been through at your young age and I don't think you are alone with your condition. I think listing your medical history along with treatments and experience is helpful for medical experts. Unfortunately, members are patients like yourself and not medical experts. We can share our experiences but we are not medical experts and can't provide medical advice.

You mentioned that you may possibly have Marfan Syndrome. You may want to scan through the other discussions and comments by members asking about Marfan Syndrome - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/search/discussions/?search=Marfan%20syndrome.

If you haven't already seen the Marfan Foundation site, you might find it helpful for resources - https://marfan.org/. If you are comfortable sharing, have you been diagnosed with Marfan Syndrome or has your doctor suggested any treatment to help with the chronic pain?
