Have anyone tried collagen with Fortibone for their Osteoporosis? If so, did it help?

My naturopath has used cell salts (Bioplasma) for bone healing with excellent results. I have just started using them for fractured bones.

Hi - What brand does your naturopath recommend and do you have any links to research on this? Thanks!

I don't know if anyone noticed or even cares, but the effect of Fortibone was compared in studies to that of a placebo. There is no data supporting it being better than similar collagen peptides. It mught be better, the same, or even worse. MARKETING.

Yes, I am using his supplements. I think I’m using all but one. I don’t have them in front of me because I’m away from home, but I use the basic ones with Vitamin C,D,K,etc .
Also, the other capsule with stuff you’ve never heard of.
Because I’m a vegetarian, I use the whey powder and also the collagen. I guess the collagen means I’m not a vegetarian any longer. 😢
I chose his supplements because it’s all too complicated and I will trust
Dr. McCormick to sell a good product.

malliecallie I also am taking Dr. Mccormick's Osteo Collagen Pep but I don 't see the Verisol in the ingredients, just the Fortobone 5,000 mg. Does he have one with Verisol too?

She does not recommend a particular brand. She said any brand would be fine. I am using Hyland's (an old, respected homeopathic company) Bioplasma. She suggested taking it as often as I remembered and wanted to. She said she took it all day long for many months last year to heal a badly broken and injured leg. Her leg is completely healed and looks perfect, no scars, no swellings, etc.

malliecallie I don't know I have the jar right here with me and my jar just has Fortibone. I wish it did have all those other ingredients. I know the Bone Coach has both Fortibone AND Verisol in his product; so I am thinking about getting that one because if has both.

I took a break from taking collagen to see if that was contributing to my intense chills. The number and severity have decreased but that may be pure coincidence. I was taking a multi hydrolyzed collagen peptide but in a limited manner.

I found the Bone Coach info very worthwhile- exercise, nutrition, stress, general info.- build, nourish, and more. Especially when I was struggling with a new diagnosis of -4.3 spine and I didn't know where you turn. Speaking of help has anyone done anything with Deb Robinson . She is a functional medicine coach and yogi instructor. Her website is debi robinson wellness.com
