I just passed my 4th anniversary of very aggressive recurrent breast cancer in my chest wall and at that time they also finally diagnosed my decades of mysterious 50+ lung tumors and respiratory issues as lung NETs and DIPNECH. I’m on forever meds for both cancers and so far so good. Still enjoying life! 🥰
In the dog joy category, I was able to love on someone’s adorable 4 month old German Shepherd puppy yesterday!

Yes, "forever meds" for me as well. Instead of feeling sorry for myself over the side-effects, I try to remember how amazing it is to have these available. Both of my primary cancer meds are so new that they weren't even in the Ontario drug formulary yet when I was diagnosed in 2021.
