I just had surgery at the Mayo Clinic performed by Dr. Dearani. He took off 10x more than than was taken by my Dr. a year earlier during my septal myectomy. I have a zero gradient!

Same zero gradient was my outcome, too! YAY! Extra hug to you for your determination and courage to undergo a septal myectomy twice! I believe we communicated on this blog a while ago, I am so glad you decided to follow up and that you ended up at a Center of Excellence (COE) for HCM. Wishing you a sustained, rapid and happy recovery from the surgery! (PS I had Dr. Schaff, I hear yours and mine are two of the many, many true experts at Mayo for heart care.)
