UPDATE on Biopsy: Well Ladies I promised I would update everyone after the biopsy. Unfortunately I don’t have the news I had hoped to hear. I have been diagnosed with Endometrial Adenocarcinoma, Endometrioid type (FIGO grade 1). I’ve been told this particular type is most common and does not generally spread rapidly. They will know the staging after I have surgery. So I am sad I have to go through that, but I was relieved to hear my ovaries looked normal and this type of cancer is curable. Ovarian cancer is so much harder to cure I’ve heard, and I must admit I was fearful of it being that. Thank God it is not! Thank you for your prayers and I will continue to pray for you all as well.

I will be getting into a GYN Oncologist hopefully next week. They told me to call back on Tuesday if I had not heard from them. Seems they are waiting on details from my pathology report and the referral. So I suppose I am in for a hysterectomy in my future. You all take care.

@kkathysan So it's the news you hoped not to hear. I was diagnosed with the same - endometrial adenocarcinoma FIGO Grade 1. This kind of cancer and with FIGO Grade 1 is not considered to be aggressive or spread quickly as you wrote. I'm hoping that you will get in to GYN ONcology next week and will have your treatment plan explained to you. I know I felt better and less anxious once I knew what plan was recommended and when it would occur.

Will you please come back and let me know what happens at your GYN Oncology appointment?

@kkathysan relieved to hear it is Grade 1 - and curable! Will continue to pray!
