@lenorj We know that adequate glutathione levels are important to lung health, but surprisingly little clinical research exists. Everything I was able to fine on an internet search was promoter-driven, with no research studies cited. When I switched to scholar.google.com, I found research evaluating the various components of glutathione, and their effects on human tissue, but no studies of its actual use and the results.

Can you explain who has recommended this? Have you spoken to your pulmonologist or primary provider about using it?

I have not yet spoken to my Dr about it yet, but I plan to before using it.
I have been working with a functional medicine Dr who has been very helpful during the last year. I too have found no research about the. Treatment.

What does the functional medicine doctor think this will do for you? Are they an MD or DO? Some people in have called themselves functional medicine doctors when their PhD is not in medicine, and that can be concerning.

One of the team is an MD the other a PA. They feel the benefits are directly for lung health and also a boost for the immune system.

I tried it about a year and a half ago for about 6 weeks. I did not see any improvement.

Can you describe the benefits it gives you? Did you share this information with your pulmonologist, and if so what is their opinion?

Great to get feed back from some one that had used glutathione. So, you do find the injections helpful?

Yes, as well as NAD+, and nebulizing with NAC. It helps with loosening the mucus.
