Bad experience taking Ambien with my day meds for 4days sraight.

It was accidental that I took it in the am. I was prescribed new day time meds for other reasons and mixed it up. I guess I filled my am and pm pill suspenser with Ambien in both. But yes, I normally just take 10mg nightly. I am more concerned of long term effects of taking a total of 8-9 in a matter of 4 days.

Ohh my what a mix up. I can see how it can be done. I feel you will be ok once it all gets out of your system. If any symptoms occur that make you worry or is unusual call your doctor as soon as you can. You may want to touch base with your doc just to let them know you accidentally mixed up your meds. This way he/she will know what is going on and may be able to tell you further if there needs to be concern.
I’ve only taken Ambien once in my life. My doc only gave me 30 pills and when they ran out he wouldn’t refill. I stretched those pills out for as long as I could. Only using them when I needed them. After they were gone that was it. This was about 12-15…years ago or so.
