Can HCM cause chest pain?

I have HCM and had alcohol septal ablation. I've had sudden cardiac arrest and I now have an ICD.
I am short of breath as well as experience chest pressures and pain.

I do not have coronary artery disease and nitroglycerin does not relieve the chest pain.

An alcohol ablation was not recommended for me, instead I had a septal myectomy two years ago at Mayo for HCM, obstructive, which began to compromise my quality of life. I later acquired an ICD because of dizziness and incidents of passing out (arrhythmia). Neither have happened since! Have you asked your cardiologist for further recommendations? Is your cardiologist well-versed in HCM?
