I am desperate to get this fixed. I am having exactly the same issue Gabe described. I’ve had all the testing done- brain ct, heart ultrasound, stress tests, PFT, asthma, full blood panels with endocrinology, etc. Thought it was adrenal gland deficiency bc when I’m in high stress situation (ie public speaking and court), I am fine. It’s random other times that I have the incessant need to fill my lungs up by yawning or trying to get a deep breath but can’t finish the yawn. Gabe, anything new you discovered or improvements lately? TIA!

Hi @jamesa27, I understand your desperation. I was there too.
How long have you have the symptoms?

I have been able to manage my symptoms for a few years. The air hunger has not gone away completely, 100%, but I can say that it's much, much better and is very manageable. I've been able to do this by following the Buteyko breathing method to get rid of the worst of it, and then maintain my breathing by going on walks everyday and doing moderate weight lifting with controlled breathing.

In your tests, have you had a blood panel done and are you aware of any other nutrient deficiencies?
