Tear/broken blood vessel on clitoris for 9 MONTHS

I am F27 and have had a pin sized purple bump on my clitoris since October 23. I noticed it after having pain after sex. There is also irritation/pain where my clitoris meets my labia minora. I have seen 5 OBGYNs who have all been unable to give me any advice other than “wait for it to go away” and prescribe different steroid creams, none of which have made any difference. One of them suggested it might be a broken blood vessel. Another said it looks like a small tear/cut. I haven’t had sex since, it even hurts to self-please. All my STD tests came back negative. What do I do? Just keep going to different gynos? Should I go to a derm? Is there anything I can put on it to help heal besides the steroid creams? I feel so hopeless and scared that it won’t heal.

I can imagine that is very distressing. I might consult with a dermatologist.

Try a warm - not hot - compress.

Hey it hasn’t gone away yet… I finally went to a competent OBGYN though. She has prescribed me estrogen cream and a compound gel that had to be sent to a chemist to make. It’s a muscle relaxer/nerve pain medication that they compounded into an ointment. I can get the names of them for you when I’m home. I haven’t started using them yet but I’m hopeful that they will help! Also I have been using a magnesium cream (got off Amazon) and it really helps with the pain/swelling.

That sounds painful. I sure hope it heals soon.
