Oh, no, no, no, NO! Epsom salt is NOT recommended if you might have SIBO. Also, enema? What is in, 1850? You need to be building your microbiome, not potentially harming it with things like Epsom salt or enemas! That's why some alternative practitioners are telling people with severe digestive problems, ABSOLUTELY NO COLONOSCOPIES because the "clean out" can destroy what little microbiome you have left!

Magnesium might be okay. I'd do it in a LIQUID FORM but don't treat the wrong "side' of your illness, address the microbiome and nutrition (Don't forget the "alphabet" vitamins, especially the B vitamins (without which, you can't properly use other vitamins) and ALL minerals. But constipation is a sign of an microbiome imbalance!

Kathleen,
A second reply, I have no idea if you have had to feel the excruciating pain, long lasting, weight gain for no apparent reason whatsoever, not been told the correct results of tests, have your doctors humiliate you for being constipated and then drop you as a patient following a lovely ER via ambulance, nasal gastric tube, 3 days in ICU, for twisted small intestines. If not, I am sure glad for you.
