How can I effectively overcome bad habits and anxiety?
I've been struggling with bad habits and anxiety for a while and I'm looking for a natural and effective way to overcome these challenges. Traditional methods haven't worked well for me, and I'm interested in exploring alternative approaches that focus on mental and emotional wellness. Can you recommend any solutions that have proven results?

Oh, how I wish I had answers for you. I am on the other side of the spectrum with MDD, PDD, BPD, and no medication or treatments have ever helped. I have been to the end of supposed breakthrough treatments, including IV Ketamine and ECT, no help at all.
My heart is with you and your search. I have never understood why the mental health illnesses, in the USA, are so extremely difficult to get good care, while getting all the bad stigmatization possible. Best wishes, Shelley
There is a Dr. Daniel Amen on PBS that I like a lot. He has programs on dealing with those and similar subjects. He is not a mumbo jumbo psychologist but has down to earth ideas about anxiety and worry. One of his shows is called How to kill the A,N.T.S. (Automatic Negative Thought Sequences) I think that's what it stands for.
He has a lot of books too.
@evansquirien May I ask what bad habits you are referring to? There are different methods of treatment for different types of habits (behaviors). When you indicate that you've tried traditional methods what do you mean? Cognitive-behavioral therapy with a mental health therapist? Medications? I can tell you about mindfulness practices that I have practiced and that have worked well for me. But first I'd like to know about you. Would you mind answering my questions so I can get a better idea of what habits you are referring to and what you have done in the past?
CBT would help you a lot with the right therapist whom you can connect with. Also recommended by my therapist is Judson A. Brewer who had TED talks available online, books and audio and possibly a podcast. Check out his numerous YouTube videos as well.

Your comment reminded me a book I read few years ago about habits. "The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business", Charles Duhigg .
I just reserved a copy at library to re-read. Even though book is 10 years old, there is still a waiting list to check out. It is not necessary about anxiety, hard to tell if anxiety leads to bad habits or bad habits is causing anxiety, but you need to tackle both.
I do best when understand my problem and why they are happening. I do take anti-anxiety meds that I started while dealing with a family member's estate, I was in over whelmed and felt like I had to handle everything at once.
Another option is S.M.A.R.T Goals. If have habit you want to change, make a plan to change bad habits into good habits by setting goals. If not familiar, there are many articles on internet about. What is one habit you would change first?
I can’t speak to the bad habits, but I can to the anxiety. TMS worked wonders for my general anxiety level. Of course, I did it for my depression but Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation works for anxiety too.
