@guinivere a friend of mine who is 83, is doing Prolia for the rest of her life. Maybe the doctor who prescribed it for you can let you know it that is your best option, or give you a long term plan.

I am so sorry you have had trouble finding a specialist and have had to go through a year of anxiety about fracturing. I hope the Prolia gives you time to find a good endocrinologist!

Thank you for the information. I was on the Prolia for more than 4 years. Apparently the longer you are on it the quicker the rebound happens. I now have found a specialist but he is saying the same thing as the other one just to stay on the tymlos. I overlapped it with the Prolia but the Prolia ran out in May. So I have been off of it for 3 months. Still on the timelas has been 7 months on it. I am currently experiencing back pain after I was just starting to feel better. I'm extremely scared that I am starting to have the rebound again. I have talked to another doctor in the specialist office and they have ordered CTX blood test and an x-ray. I have to wait a week for the X-ray to make sure if it is the fracture it would show up. I am literally so upset I feel like I can't trust anyone
