Paraprotein & Light chains

I’m awaiting my appointment but have been looking things up. Has anyone had these abnormal labs and what do they mean for you? Only thing that made them test was low white blood cells.

Does anyone have any experience with dropping k/l scores? Mine went from 0,06 to 0,03 and 0,01 would be slimcrab criterion.
I am smm IGG Lambda with 20% bone marrow and M spike at 9,7g/l.
I would like to stay on watch n wait.

@mascot, are you being seen by a hematologist? Extreme FLC ratios can be an indicator of progression. You may very well remain in wait-and-see, but I would recommend that occur under a specialist at this point.

Oh yes i am, thank you for replying. It does seem to go in one direction, but it would be nice to know if anyone is still on wait and watch even if the numbers hit 0,01!
I feel fine and there is no lesion or any crab criteria

ah. Are you concerned there could be other things happening like amyloidosis? I'm the worrier who would go down that rabbit hole.

@mascot what does your hematologist/oncologist say about this? Do you feel comfortable with his or her response?

The response is basically, it may be stable the next time. We will see in 3 months.
It’s not amyloid, had that checked at 2 locations.
Has anyone had 0,01 quotient and no treatment?
