I don't have any experience with the actual treatment by a chiropractor for neuropathy symptoms but there are several discussions and quite a few posts by other members on the topic. Here's a link to the search results that shows the discussions and comments if you want to scan through them - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/search/discussions/?search=chiropractor%20for%20neuropathy
My biggest problem is my balance. Also, I can’t walk very far before my legs get tired. I don’t take any medicine. Any help with my balance would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same issue.
Can’t feel my feet because they are so numb, and I have nothing to grip with when I walk.
I use a walker and a cane when I’m out, and I can’t shop for any long length of time.
The one thing do use to help me walk is a foot brace. They are made of neoprene plastic &fit under the insole of my shoe. I buy my shoes a 1/2 to one size bigger. You can go online & look under nueropathy foot brace for $60. Have you heard of research on how to regenerate the nerves?

@bob1946 - I have large and small fiber neuropathy. - idiopathic axonal PN. Numbness, poor balance just two of several issues. The brace I use is an ankle foot orthotic covered by my insurance. Without these on which is not often, I must use a cane. With them on, I rarely use a cane unless I'm walking outside on uneven surfaces. Diagnosed in 2015 at Mayo in MN. Ed

I am finding walking on a treadmill to be helpful for improving balance and strengthening leg muscles. The treadmill allows me to set my speed as low as I need to and to avoid balance issues by holding on to one or both side rails. I can increase speed and/or walk without holding on when I feel safe doing so. My walking is improving as a result. I use the YWCA, but many gyms have free Silver Sneakers memberships or senior discounts.

Small fiber nerves regenerate. Long fiber nerves do not.
The frustrating thing you are taught in anatomy and physiology that nerves don’t regenerate period. I have read an article about marijuana and nerve regeneration out of Israel.
This is not easy reading.

Bob - Could you please be more specific about the type of foot brace you are using. Your condition sounds a lot like mine.
