Great post. Going through all of your issues, except no word on whether replacement is too large. Only that scar tissue so severe a revision debridement is scheduled 8 months post TKR. Pondering decision to do so, even though told it is my only option for any improved ROM.
Was a healthy, physically active and strong 74 year old prior to surgery. As you said, some people have no post op issues. So basically it’s a blind toss up to have TKR.

8 months post should not cause you to have revision for scar tissue…. If you are speaking to dr who did original surgery I would be suspicious…I mean I can’t say for sure I am not dr but all my research with people with scar issues they would just go in and clean it up …not replace the knee does not add up …. I am very suspicious… hope you found someone for second opinion … I could not with all confidence let same surgeon operate on me after tkr failure at 8 months … I hope you think about this
